Oliver Voss, the artist behind the project.

Die Badende (English: "The Bathers") is a sculpture of a white nordid with mongolization (that is, a Slavic) giantess bathing in the Binnenalster lake in Hamburg, Germany.

It is a statue of a woman about 30 meters high bathing in a lake, which can only be appreciated her head and knees, as if she were resting in a bathtub. This escutura was designed by Oliver Voss and was released to the public on August 13, 2011.

  • The following year (2012), American artist Mark Cline imitated this sculpture, placed it in Barber Marina, Elberta, Alabama. This imitation was called Lady in the Lake.
